Serpentine is a plant shop & design studio based in Gainesville, Florida, founded by Keri Guynn and Thomas Rankine in 2019. Together, they combine a keen eye for design, with a passion for plants and a knowledge of plant care, to create unique and inspiring designs that bring the magic of plants into our everyday lives.

In this ever more fractured world, plants remind us of our interconnectedness with nature and each other. Beyond the obvious benefits of bringing plants indoors - cleaner air and the beauty they lend to a space - they improve our mood, boost creativity and aid with loneliness. 

We believe everyone deserves to experience these benefits, so we’d like to share the skills needed to confidently care for plants indoors. 

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to cultivate a relationship with your plants by tuning in, and learning to intuit their needs. We will teach you how to choose the right plants for your space and create the perfect environment for them to thrive. We’ll teach you the fundamentals of indoor plant care, and at the end, we’ll answer any lingering questions you have, so you leave with the confidence to get growing!
