Bio:

Alexandra (Ali) Martinez received her Master’s and Specialist’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Florida in 2001. She then worked for several non-profit organizations providing crisis intervention and counseling services to youth and families. In 2014, Ali became the Director of the Alachua County Crisis Center, a crisis and suicide intervention center offering crisis line, mobile response, and therapy services. The Crisis Center is also the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline Center for the North Central Florida area. Over the past 18 years, she has offered over 2300 hours of training and consultation on couples and family counseling, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention. 

Ali is also a Doctoral Candidate in the School of Human Development and Organizational Studies in Education at the University of Florida.
