Bio:

Studio TM is the family owned pottery studio of Sara Truman and Naomi Mostkoff located in Gainesville, FL. In addition to making, selling and exhibiting their own work, Studio TM teaches community classes, one day workshops and private lessons. We have a one-year apprenticeship and several instructors that help support our community of makers and offer their clay expertise in our classroom. In our new expanded space we will offer monthly memberships, private studio rentals, and a retail space selling clay, glazes, ceramic tools and local products from local makers. 

We are thrilled to be sharing an Introduction to Wheel Throwing! We will demonstrate the use of a pottery wheel to make clay pots, and bring along lots of clay and tools for everyone to try! This class is a super fun, stress-free sampler of making with clay to get you re-acquainted with using your hands! Attendees will be given a discount code that can be used at Studio TM to join us for classes or future events after participating! Everyone participant will get to keep one thing that is fired and returned to be picked up approximately two weeks after our event.
